EZ Ruler - How it Works
Conventional graph paper works reasonably
well for sketching out project ideas. Unfortunately,
counting off squares can get tedious. My printable
EZ Ruler with 96 tick marks lets you draw
8-foot boards and full sheets of plywood -
all in 1/10 scale on letter size paper. Printing
the ruler on 65# stock paper makes a strong,
durable ruler that you can cut to size with
scissors or a utility knife.
Plywood
Cutting Diagram
I'm amazed at how much plywood goes to waste
when building a project. My EZ plywood grid
comes to the rescue here - letting you see
exactly how much space is available on a 4x8
sheet. If it doesn't fit - simply draw the
shape in a better location on the board.

2x4
& 2x6 Lumber Cutting Diagrams
I tend to underestimate how many boards I
need for a project, and that usually means
a gas-wasting return trip to the lumber store.
A cutting diagram like this helps you narrow
down exactly what's needed for the project
at hand - before you leave the house.
Magic
Drawing Cube
Magic drawing cube lets you draw your project
ideas in 3D - even if you’ve never been
very good at perspective. Start at one corner
with your pencil and follow the guidelines
to reach the intersecting points for the top,
sides, and back. No rulers or drawing tools
needed.

Project
Shopping Checklist
I used to take a pile of scribbled notes to
the hardware store when it was time to buy
supplies. Not anymore. This neat and tidy
checklist gets your brain better organized
- and helps you avoid buying stuff you don't
need.
Let
me know what you think of my project planner.
